Del Ray, FL. – October 1, 2023
On Halloween, a Delray Beach resident was apprehended and currently remains in the Palm Beach County Jail as of early Wednesday morning. The Delray Beach Police have lodged two charges against him.
James Buzbee, aged 43, residing in the 200 block of SE 10th Street in Delray Beach, was arrested late on Tuesday afternoon. He is facing charges for both “DUI – Unlawful blood alcohol – DUI influence of alcohol or drugs” and “Crimes against a person, corruption by threatening a public servant or family.” The specific details of these charges were not available at the early hours of Wednesday, as the arrest report was still being processed.
Buzbee’s bail has been established at $3,000 for the “crimes against a person” charge, while no bail has been set for the DUI charge.
It is worth noting that in February 2023, Buzbee received citations for careless driving, to which he pleaded guilty and paid a fine. Additionally, he was cited at the same time for operating a motor vehicle without a license, unaware of the violation, and also paid a fine for that offense.
