Michael T. Rabideau is a trial attorney and owner of The Law Offices of Michael T. Rabideau, P.A. Mr. Rabideau is admitted to practice in Florida Courts Statewide as well as The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and practices exclusively in the areas of Criminal Defense and Marchman Act / Substance Abuse Law. Mr. Rabideau currently has offices in West Palm Beach, Wellington and Boca Raton, Florida.
For many years, Mr. Rabideau specialized solely in criminal defense but came to realize that a vast majority of his clients had substance abuse issues and oftentimes would find themselves in criminal court due to drug and/or alcohol abuse. Recognizing that unless the core issue was addressed, many clients would end up back in jail. Therefore, during plea negotiations, Mr. Rabideau would ask for treatment services with the hope of rehabilitation rather than incarceration.
Given his experience with individuals suffering from the disease of addiction, Mr. Rabideau expanded his practice to also specialize in Marchman Act / Substance Abuse Law, with the belief that an individual could be helped before the addiction spiraled out of control and someone ended up in criminal court or worse. Since that time, Mr. Rabideau has handled numerous Marchman Act petitions on behalf of families and friends, seeking a better life for their loved one.
Mr. Rabideau is a legal attorney and analyst for CBS, NBC and FOX News and has been quoted in news publications. He is an active member of The Florida Bar Association, The Palm Beach County Bar Association, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and The Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
In addition to being a legal analyst for many prime television channels, Mr. Rabideau is also an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University teaching criminal law
Mr. Rabideau earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1995 and his Juris Doctrine Law Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida in 1998. He is married with two children and volunteers his time with the Children’s Ministry at his local church. In his free time he enjoys golfing, the arts and spending time with his family.
With over 23 years of dedicated experience in criminal law, Sarah is a seasoned paralegal known for a compassionate approach to supporting clients through challenging legal situations. She enjoys reading in what little spare time she has, as well as traveling to explore new cultures and ideas. A strong advocate for giving back, she regularly serves in the children’s ministry at her church and is vice president of the school board of St David’s Episcopal School.
In her downtime, Sarah treasures moments spent with husband and two children. As a parent, she understands the emotional toll that families and individuals face when navigating sensitive and/or difficult legal issues and brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting clients.
